Hello! It’s me, Trevor, your friendly neighbourhood boudoir photographer.
I love to tell stories in all their forms. Over my life I have done this in music, as a writer, as a director in the film industry, and of course as a photographer. Perhaps it’s my film background, but I am inspired to create dramatic, cinematic images. I love mood, texture and depth in my shots and I find this aesthetic pairs so well with boudoir.
I believe boudoir photography has a way of empowering and transforming a person's perception of themselves unlike any other type of photography. It’s the combination of the trust and vulnerability that is required when shooting, and the embracing of one’s self that creates a truly empowering experience that’s so much more than just getting your picture taken.

WHO WILL SEE THESE PICS?
You and me. Once you receive the finished edits you can share them with as many or as few people as you want. I will post select pictures of clients from time to time on my website or social media, BUT only with the model's enthusiastic permission first. If you want them 100% private that’s the way they will stay.
WHERE WILL THESE PHOTOS BE TAKEN?
I have a home studio that I have crafted into the perfect space for boudoir photography. I love shooting here, and my clients do to. But I also love to mix things up and try unique locations, so I'll oftenI rent a variety of spaces that give different moods and aesthetics. When we start talking about your session and what we're trying to go for I may offer up some spaces that I feel would work well for what we're trying to do. Or sometimes people want to shoot in their home or a space they have access to that is unique. I'm open to that too.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Do I need to buy a bunch of new lingerie or outfits for my shoot? Nope. But if you’ve been itching to do so anyway and you want this to be the excuse to justify that, then sure, knock yourself out. As I’ve mentioned several times, boudoir is not about the outfits, it's about the ATTITUDE! Also boudoir doesn't always have to be lingerie, Perhaps you never feel more empowered than when wearing your favourite sports teams jersey and panties. Perhaps you love corsets and latex and how they make you feel so confident. Or don't forget the simplicity and seduction of a silk bed sheet and a coy smile. Point is there is lots to explore and I'm here to encourage you to do so..
WHAT ABOUT GETTING OUTSIDE?
I love doing boudoir in nature! It is a completely different experience and creates the most amazing images. If this is something you're interested in, let's talk about it and capture you in nature as nature intended.
HOW DO I POSE?
The good news is you are not alone in this concern of "not knowing how to pose yourself". The better news is you don’t have to worry about any of that because I will tell you how to pose every step of the way. Plus you get the added fun and entertainment of often seeing me demonstrate the poses for you, which is worth the price of admission right there! It's not to be missed LOL
WHAT ABOUT HAIR AND MAKEUP?
That is up to you. I do offer hair/makeup services and I do recommend it, but that’s not what every client wants for a variety of reasons. So I leave it as an optional element that we can add on when we’re putting your session package together.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH COUPLES OR MEN?
YES!!! I will photograph anybody who wants to celebrate themself and feel amazing about who they are. I don't care what their gender is or what their relationship dynamic is, it's all amazing to me and worth celebrating.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR PARTNER?
Sorta. Look, I'm all about doing what ever makes you feel safe and comfortable and if having a friend or partner bring you to the session helps you with this then that is fine. But I strongly recommend they don't stay for the shooting unless they themselves are also being photographed too. The reason for this is having someone there will make you more self-conscious and nervous. As well as it interferes with the photographer/subject relationship while shooting.
Investment
BUT HOW MUCH?
I don’t really do standard packages because I find what each person wants and needs is a little different. But what I can tell you is the base price starts at $550, which includes the pre-shoot consultation and preparation, a two hour shooting session, posing and direction guidance throughout the session, a gallery posted of the select images to chose from, and from that, 7 finished digital images.
Now it's about customizing your shoot just for you. This can be having a hair/makeup person (generally recommended, but not a must), a unique location or studio, additional shooting time, additional images, and of course the printing options. Just so many printing options!!! On average clients spend $800 to $1400 depending on customized elements and printing.
